It’s reported that the major steelmakers in Korean announced to raise the prices of hot rolled coils (HRC) before the lunar calendar New Year holiday.
It’s learned that Posco announced to increase its HRC prices by KRW200, 000/ton from the fourth week of February.
Also, Hyundai Steel increased its HRC prices by KRW200, 000/ton as well.
In the first two months of this year, the Korean steelmakers had increased the HRC prices by KRW400, 000/ton.
